William (Bill) Giolma – President

Bill has 35 years experience in analog, mixed signal and RF design, project and design team management, product and business development and strategic marketing.  Prior to joining MedIC, Bill  was VP of business development at Rivlan Inc, and Strategic Marketing Manager at Texas Instruments in Dallas.  During his 35 year career at TI he was a Design Engineer, Member of Technical Staff, Process Development Manager, Design Manager, Senior Member of Technical Staff, Division Business Manager and Product Group Business Manager.  Bill received his BSEE from Carnegie Mellon University, and holds 12 patents.

Peter Ying – VP of Technology

Peter has over 20 years of experience as senior member of technical staff, manager of new business development, quality, productivity, technology development, and R&D transfer at Texas Instruments.  His expertise spans power management, linear logic, analog and mix-signal SoC products in CMOS, SiGe BiCMOS, RFCMOS, GaAs, MEMS and SOI technologies.  Peter has a deep understanding of all aspects of semiconductor business including the design, EDA, technology, manufacturing and the business process. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering from University of Cincinnati and his Executive MBA from University of Texas at Austin.  Peter holds 25 patents and authored more than 30 research papers publications.

Martyn Abbott – Systems CTO

Martyn has 25 years technical and management experience in electronic medical device development and a broad understanding of the product development process.  For the last 12 years as a Medical Technology Consultant he has played key roles to bring complex products successfully to market, including the 521 and Horizon I.V. pumps and the Myocardial Protection System.  Martyn received his BSc. from Manchester University, England in Physics and Electronic Engineering, and holds 8 patents.
